The Foundation :
The mission of the Foundation ReBin for Sustainable Development ® is to promote, develop, support and accompany all ecological, socially responsible and economically viable projects. These three criteria are essential and inseparable from its action and can be described more simply by the fact of taking care of nature, human being and share resources wisely.
The Foundation ReBin for Sustainable Development ® is registered at the Commercial Register of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. It is subject to a control of the Swiss Federal Authority of Foundations Surveillance. It has for this purpose full exemption from tax in Switzerland, as well as the entire legal exemption from registration fees donations.
The Foundation acts as a partner for sustainable development and the implementation of social and ecological projects. They shall in no case go against the common good and the environment. To ensure the smooth running of projects it supports, the Foundation actively monitors them in order to ensure effective implementation. As part of the set goals, the Foundation will be active in Switzerland and abroad, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa and Benin.
It acts as a prescriber, mainly on projects aimed at the preservation and optimization of natural resources. However, it can support other activities, provided that they respect the three pillars of the Foundation. The support of the Foundation can be expressed in different ways, either through financial contributions, logistical support, active participation in a business or the provision of expertise. Ultimately, data, studies and results on the various projects will be shared freely on an open source model.
In September 2015, 193 world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals for Sustainable Development. If these Goals are completed, it would mean an end to extreme poverty, inequality and climate change by 2030. The Global Goals are only going to work if we fight for them and you can’t fight for your rights if you don’t know what they are. We believe the Goals are only going to be completed if we can make them famous.
The ReBin Foundation, through its actions, agrees on the following points:
